Affiliated Services for Children and Youth (ASCY) requires an Administrative Support Staff to support the Early Words/1er mots Preschool Speech and Language, Central South Infant Hearing and Blind-Low Vision Programs.  The successful candidate will be directly accountable to the Manager of the Early Words Preschool Speech and Language Program, in conjunction with the Executive Director of ASCY.

The successful candidate will support transfer to other preschool speech and language programs, support parent program administration, complete data entry to provincial and other database systems, mail outs, filing, compiling resources and providing coverage as necessary for other administrative support staff as necessary.

The successful applicant has:

  • Relevant training in administrative support applications including Word, Excel, Power Point, Access and Outlook.
  • Accuracy in data entry and ability to handle sensitive information maintaining client confidentiality is critical.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, as a member of a team and to multi-task.
  • Excellent organizational, verbal and written communication skills.
  • Knowledge and understanding of the Hamilton early years’ community is an asset.
  • May be required to work flexible hours occasionally.
