Join our team of compassionate and caring Early Childhood Educators!   • Oversee student placements, volunteers, ensuring appropriate staffing at all times and complete required evaluations.

  • Help to prepare and set up the activity area before program time
  • Assist in maintaining the health and safety standards required for the program
  • Under the direction of the Childcare Supervisor, assure that all the facilities and equipment are kept clean, safe and in good repair
  • Take responsibility for maintaining on-going communication with parents in a sensitive and respectful manner
  • Be aware of a child-care worker’s responsibility under the Child Protection Act with respect to the welfare of children attending the program
  • Assist staff in charge in organizing, scheduling and facilitating sessions for parents/clients
  • Ensure that the accommodation is left in good order each day
  • Complete 5 hours of related and documented professional development yearly
  • Perform all other duties as required.
