Job Description:

The Early Childhood Educator is responsible for educating, stimulating, influencing and caring for the children in their classroom environment. Their principle responsibilities include: maintaining a high quality environment, assessing, observing and caring for the individual needs of every child, educating children in accordance to the designated curriculum model for their age group, maintaining open and honest lines of communication between parents and team members and always exemplifying professionalism. Requirements:

  • Must be a Registered Early Childhood Educator and current with the College of Early Childhood Educators, Ontario.
  • Upon hire you will require current First Aid/CPR, 2 Step TB, immunization (Tetanus, MMR).
  • You will need to provide a Vulnerable Sector Screening Police Check that has been completed for Higher Learning Montessori.
  • It is not a requirement to have knowledge of Montessori, this will be taught on site.
