The Professional Learning Team at Haldimand & Norfolk

As the system manager, Norfolk County Children’s Services has engaged with Affiliated Services for Children and Youth (ASCY) to support ongoing professional learning and professional resource services in Haldimand and Norfolk counties. In this spirit of collaboration, ASCY would like to extend a warm greeting to all early learning and child care professionals, operators/owners of licensed child care, and the many partners and stakeholders currently involved in the delivery of high quality services for children and families.

Based on Ontario’s Renewed Early Years and Child Care Policy Framework (2017), the growth our sector has experienced in recent years will continue as we expand and enhance our system of early years programs and services. In order to support the Ministry of Education’s vision and expectations for increased quality and system integration, ASCY will build on the solid foundation that has already been established in Haldimand and Norfolk. ASCY staff look forward to visiting programs in Haldimand and Norfolk and developing collaborative relationships within the communities. Staff will be working out of a temporary office at the Haldimand Community Support Centre, 103 Inverness Street, Caledonia.
