This session supports early years leaders and educators in strengthening culturally responsive and equity-focused practices in programs serving newcomer children, families, and educators.
Participants will explore newcomer experiences through an intersectional, strengths-based lens while reflecting relationships and curriculum. Through real-world scenarios and practical tools, the session will help participants build strategies that foster belonging, support diverse educator teams, and promote equitable practices within early years settings.
