Description:
We are looking to hire an outgoing, creative RECE. We are a great team that appreciates each other and is open to everyone’s ideas. There is great communication between staff, supervisor and director. A passion for loose parts and play based learning is appreciated. We also encourage our children to take part in risky play. We love to get messy and have a wonderful outdoor play space with a large mud kitchen. Our educators plan programs that challenge and engage children through play based learning. We value what staff bring to the table and are excited for new ideas. We are looking for someone who is an Early Childhood Educator, who is registered with the College of Early Childhood Educators and in good standing.

Looking for a RECE who:

  • contributes to a positive workplace environment
  • is motivated and a good team worker
  • are responsible for ensuring compliance with policies and procedure and the CCEYA
  • must have a current Vulnerable Screening, valid CPR and First Aid
  •  have knowledge and understanding of How Does Learning Happen and observation and documentation skills
  • good communication skills and warm and caring personality
  • needs to be flexible and be reliable.
  • MUST have a diploma in Early Childhood Education

  • Years of Experience: 1-5 years
  • Registered and in good standing with the College of Early Childhood Educators, Ontario
  • Knowledge of Ontario’s pedagogy, “How Does Learning Happen?” and the Child Care and Early Years Act (CCEYA)
  • Experience in working with various age groups (i.e.: infant, toddler, preschool, kindergarten, 6 to 8 years
  • Standard First Aid and CPR “C”
  • Current Vulnerable Sector Check
  • Work as a member of a team
  • Doctor Certified Health Assessment and up to date in immunization, TB Test
  • Willingness to participate in: Staff Meetings, Professional Learning opportunities, etc.

Description:
Looking for dedicated and passionate educators to join our team. Person must have a positive disposition, happy to assist children through the day, flexible and works well in a team.

Contract position is from September- March – RECE preferred
Additional contract part time positions available, possible hours of 7am-12pm or 12pm-6pm daily.  Both RECE and assistants may apply.

Individuals must have or be willing to obtain the following:

  • First aid/CPR -C
  • Updated Criminal Reference Check
  • Up to date immunization
  • Current TB test
