1:15-2:15 pm     The Atelier of Taste with Rosalba Bortolotti

If we believe in developing the whole child, which includes food – food that is consumed and food as language for many possible educational experiences, then our view of childhood becomes different.
In our virtual “Atelier of Taste”, participants are invited to experience and share food as a place of identity, well-being, belonging and engagement. Food shares its stories from the past and the present and it offers knowledge, sustainability, and memories.

In this gathering, we will engage in conversations about thoughts and ideas to bring food as an important part of everyday living in infant-toddler rooms, preschools, and schools as a subject of identity and traditions. This webinar will share stories on projects with food, gardens, and everyday experiences with cooks, teachers, children, and families.
